Christened Avianites Contribution to Excellence, ACE Awards is Avian Media’s Annual Awards Ceremony founded to recognize and award the best PR campaigns undertaken across clients and offices. It is a platform that lauds individual effort and works as a morale booster for the company’s employees.
ACE Awards were established in 2011 with the idea of recognizing the keen efforts put in by the employees of Avian Media and hence supporting them further to work towards creating innovative and high-impact campaigns for their clients. This undoubtedly instills confidence in the various teams working hard for their clients to realize goals in tune with their business objectives. Such appreciation keeps the employees highly motivated to churn out some of the best campaigns in the industry and maintains a healthy degree of competitive spirit within the agency as well. The Awards night is followed by a gala dinner giving the employees an opportunity to unwind and bond with each other.
The categories at the ACE Awards with their winners for the year 2013 are as follows:

- The team that Rocked
- New Professional on the block
- Appreciation certificates for all those, who during the year, have gone above and beyond their normal call of duty
- Outstanding contribution to the firm
The next three categories are based on client work
- Best Campaign Retainer: There were two winners – South Africa Tourism and Jabong
- Best Project Project – Philips Healthcare and Saket City Hospital
- The Best Integrated Campaign (Retainer / Project) – Advanced Hair Studio and Huawei-Maitree Scholarship
The awards are first internally shortlisted basis the nomination entries that pour in from various teams in the agency. They are then shared with a set of external jury panel which included three eminent corporate communications directors working across consumer, technology and corporate sectors and one jury member from a leading research/measurement company.
The entries are judged on the impact PR has on the business objectives of the clients apart from the media mileage and engagement created. It strives to recognize work which can be supported with statistics on the real change it created for the client’s business.
